Each model of the BMW R nineT 1200 range uses the very same identical oil radiator that, for this air and oil cooled boxer shaped engine, is a vital component. Unfortunately due to the economy of scale that even a large manufacturer such as BMW is forced to follow, this essential component is not the very best with respect to materials used for its construction and overall design. This allows to keep an ideal engine oil temperature especially in the most extreme use of the engine (low traffic speed, off-road use, warm climates, high speed driving, racing, \u2026). Its curved shape allows to better integrate itself with the original lines of the R Nine T and compared with an hypothetical same width radiator, it gives a larger thermal exchange surface.<\/p>\n

Furthermore its trapezoidal shape, whose sides have the same inclination of the R Nine T collector downpipes, gives an optimal aerodynamics and an eye catching aesthetics.<\/p>\n

Our kit also includes the two aeronautical oil lines and all aluminum fittings for installation on engine. These braided stainless steel aeronautical lines are covered by transparent heatshrink hose and have black anodized ergal fittings. Both radiators and lines are individually pressure tested to guarantee maximum safety and efficiency.<\/p>\n
